An oculus is an architectural feature that is round or eye shaped, for example the round opening at the top of a dome. This piece was inspired by the oculus of the Pantheon, as I wanted to display the scale if the diameter of the Pantheon’s oculus on the ground. It has a diameter of 29’ and a circumference of 91.06’.
